PHC Quiz for cash ANSWER Arabian

Actually the Tarpan is extinct and the horses they are using to recreate the breed are those closely related and showing charactoristics of the Tarpan. As for the Arabian, although Arabian horse fans and breeders would like us to believe that the Arabian is the oldest bred (other than the Przewalski, of course) it has been found that the Caspian Pony is actually older than the Arabian and probably even influenced the Arab breed. ArabianProbably the Tarpan, which is technically extinct but was (Revitalized) By Selective breeding in the various collective farms of the former U.S.S.R. It was somewhat similar to (Old unpronouncable) but larger and more horse-like . It did not resemble a Donkey or Mule! The last wild tarpans died in l879 or thereabouts- but zoos and govt.l preserves got their act together with captive breeding, like the Pere David Deer of Imperial China!
