Do other religions give to charity like the Muslims?

All religions encourage paying charities to people or institution that need it. All religions, besides the religion ritual worships, have the other social part that preaches for doing deeds (like paying charity) for the society and mankind's benefit. The religions may differ only on the details and rules of paying these charities.
