Why does wifi signal fluctuate?

interference issues which unfortanetly can be difficult to deal with. Many devices operate in the same 2.4ghz spectrum as wifi:

2.4ghz cordless phones, baby monitors, microwaves...

Your neighbours could be just warming up a Pizza. I know it sounds lame but its more then possible.

you maybe getting to far away from the router that provide the signal
