If a brand new VW Jetta has a real main seal leak and the dealer says they need to pull the transmission is this correct?

Yes if your rear main seal is leaking they will have to pull the tranny. But dont worry if they put it all back together right, all should be well. yes,that true,they will have to take out the hole powertrain but if the car is brand new its under warrenty and no cost to you.
