With the serial number that you have provided, your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1951.The availability of ammo should not be a problem since Remington still loads this caliber with there 170gr.core-lokt bullet. If you are a reloader, components are readily available to hand load this cartridge.I still do with either hornady,or speer bullets and dies are available at any well stocked sporting goods store.Brass is available also.I have a Marlin model 336rc(regular carbine) dated to 1949,and it loves my reloads with the Hornady bullets.Good luck, and enjoy that nice pre-64 model 1894 rifle.
