What makes a b18b1 motor so strong in a civic?

well for one, as civics come stock with 1.5 or 1.6 L engines, the car itself is light weighted. going from 127 HP to 140 HP thats one additive, and the b18b1s torque is much more. i have a b18b1 LS auto, love it runs great
