What did TVs look like 40 years ago?

They were all cathode ray TVs operated by vacuum tubes. The transistor had not been invented. Most were small 7" to 10" screens in large wooden cabinets. They all produced black & white pictures as the color TV had not been invented. All sound was mono with no stereo. Reliability was poor with vacuum tubes needing replacement regularly.
