Why is it hard to fall out of love?

Its hard to fall out of love because you always think "what if he loved me" or "i know he will come around" its like your in a competitions with your self and your heart but realistically their NOT going to come back around and now you just gotta fall out of love i know your just asking HOW right?its just something that jus has to happen on your own. you cant force it, or you will start missing that person even more. if your not ready your just not ready.
