Is a subset smaller or larger then a regular set?

A subset is smaller. A subset is made up of entries from the regular set, so it cannot be bigger, and it cannot be the same size, because that would just be the regular set again.

Example: {2, 3, 5} is a subset of {2, 3, 4, 5, 6}
