How is synthetic leather made?

Blended leather is a material that contains ground, pulverized, shredded reconstituted or bonded leather and is not wholly the hide of an animal and should not be represented as 100% leather. It is typically combined with Polyurethane and some kind of cotton or poly/cotton blend. It looks and feels like leather, is quite durable, cleans easily and is somewhat fade- resistant due to sunlight exposure.
