To remove the oil pan from a 1992 Nissan Stanza, you'll need to first drain the engine oil and remove the oil drain plug. Then, detach the exhaust system components that may obstruct access, such as the exhaust pipe and any heat shields. Additionally, you'll need to remove the crossmember and possibly the transmission mount to drop the oil pan down. Finally, unbolt the oil pan itself from the engine block and carefully lift it off.
