What changes will occur in a person's body and what compensatory mechanisms will be activated if a person drinks approx 5 liters of water within a day?

If you drink too much the bodies cells will become overloaded with liquid and will eventually burst meaning you would drown from the inside out .

The body cannot really do much to compensate except from maybe urinating more than usual .
