Which is better low profile wheels or deep v wheels for bicycles?

Deep Vs can be more aerodynamic, but are rumored to ride more harshly. They're more sensitive to side winds too.

Low profile are less sensitive to side winds, and are supposed to ride softer. Can be lighter too.
