What do you do with the empty glass bowl on 24 carrot island?

It is on the first floor of the abandoned farmhouse, to the left of Main Street. You will have to enter through the chimney. Fill it with milk at the diner and return with it. If you can chase the cat downstairs, it will drink the milk and follow you.
