What is the recommended age for assassin's creed III?

I will assume you are talking about the ESRB rating that they give games. While Revelations will be most likely rated M that doesn't mean that anyone below the age of 17 can't buy it. In fact, in California their Supreme Court was debating that very concept and decided it would be unconstitutional to restrict it. Happy Playing!
