Assuming you mean typing, you would need a Word processor or at least a simple document editor. Windows comes with Notepad and WordPad. Notepad is quick and dirty, while WordPad has more functionality. Those are sufficient for many things. Or you can install something like Microsoft Word or Open Office. Then you would use the printer for printing your documents.
