Is there real life 100 pin bowling?

(see Patrick Allen.) I have not heard of this as a "sanctioned event," but it very popular with those of us who work/have worked in a Bowling alley. It is just for a little bit of fun. Most bowling alleys you can't go in and say "I want to shoot at 100 pins." Obviously this isn't typical because the pinsetters are not setup up that way.
