How many quarts of oil does a 1982 Honda CB 900 custom take?

According to the Honda shop manual here are the following recomendations. 1) 3.5 litres or 3.7 US QTS or 3.0 IMP. QTS for regular oil change 2) 4.5 litres or 4.7 US QTS or 4.0 IMP QTS at rebuild or disassembly of entire motor.
