Whose picture is on US coins?

Current US coins:

1¢ (penny) - Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president

5¢ (nickel) - Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd president

10¢ (dime) - Franklin Roosevelt, the 32nd President

25¢ (quarter) - George Washington, the 1st President

50¢ (half dollar) - John F. Kennedy, the 35th President

$1, Native American series - a stylized image of Sacajawea

$1, Presidential series - all nonliving former presidents, in order of service.

Images of people on earlier coins include Benjamin Franklin on the half, Gen. Dwight Eisenhower and womens'-rights advocate Susan B. Anthony on the dollar, and a stylized Native American chief on the nickel. Prior to those coins, most US coins had various images of Miss Liberty.
