Do you believe that in Islam, when you die, do you go to heaven or wait for judgement day?

In Islam, when a person dies, their soul goes to a place called the Barzakh, where it waits for the Day of Judgment. On that day, individuals will be judged based on their deeds and beliefs, and then they will either go to heaven or hell for eternity.
