When was the colossus destroyed?

The 107-foot (30 m) bronze statue of the god HeliOS was at the harbor of the island Rhodes, Greece, and was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was built between 292 and 280 BC and destroyed by an earthquake in 226 BC.
