What is the oil capacity of an Oldsmobile alero with a 2 2 liter ecotech engine?

All 2.2 LITRE Ecotech Engines will take 4.7L (Canadian Litres). If you need to find the filter, it's on the top. It's located in a housing. It's black. It will take a 32mm or 1 1/4 socket. take the element out, put the new one in make sure it clicks. Put it back in and ONLY TIGHTEN UNTIL SNUG. They are a pain to get off when overtightened and can damage it. Make sure the filter housing is drained of oil completely. You don't need to fill it. It will fill itself after starting.
