Code 171 and 174 intermitent on 02 Jaguar XK8 sets then clears Any suggestions?

The codes means lean fuel. This is probably caused by an air leak in one air supply hoses or in the manifold gasket. Estimated cost of repair is 2 to 6 hundred dollars.
