Which virtnamese people were ok whit colonialism and why?

Some Vietnamese people, particularly certain elites and intellectuals, initially supported colonialism as they believed it could bring modernization and economic development to Vietnam. They hoped that French colonial rule would lead to improvements in infrastructure, education, and governance. Additionally, some viewed collaboration with the French as a way to gain political power and influence within the colonial system, believing they could reform Vietnam from within. However, this perspective was not universally held, and many opposed colonial rule altogether.
