How do right to left and left to right printers work?

Right-to-left (RTL) and left-to-right (LTR) printers refer to the direction in which the print head moves across the page. LTR printers typically print from the left side of the page to the right, moving the print head horizontally and then advancing the paper after each line. In contrast, RTL printers print from the right side of the page to the left, which can be necessary for certain languages that are read in that direction.
