2003 Acura CL radio removal

Ok CL RadiOS are TRICKY but be patient and you shouldn't break anything. Step one, Pop the decorative trim on either side of the center console. Open the fuse panel and find the screw holding the panel under the steering colum. Remove the panel. Next remove the three screws holding the side panel on. both sides. Then open the deepest part of your center console and remove the 2 screws on the bottom. Slide the rear section of the center console rear ward. It should move freely. Next unplug and remove both seat heater control switches along with the panel they mount in. You should be looking at your ODB II connector now. there is a screw on either side of that. Remove them. Pry up the trim panel around your gear stick. Phenagle the entire piece off to the side. you do not need to disconnect the wire for the outlet. Pry the Climate control panel up around the bottom. Remove the screws from either side of the deck and disconnect the cable harness. and your deck should slide out with the storage pocket still connected. buy yourself a dash adapter from crutchfield. Just take your time and you'll be fine.
