Where was Nelson Mandela born?

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born on 8 July 1918 in the village of Mvezo in Umtatu, then a part of South Africa's Cape Province, he grew up with his two sisters in the village of Qunu.

He was born in Umtata in the former Transkei state, now located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa.
