When troubleshooting a vehicle, I like to start with the simplest explanation first, your truck symptoms sound like enough fuel isn't getting to the chamber. Remove your fuel filter, check and see if it is clogged, you'll need to pass some air through it. I recommend not putting your lips on it (gasoline is poisonous!), but taking a rubber hose or straw of some sort and using that to blow air through it. If there is little to no resistance that isn't your problem, if there is quite a bit of resistance *you'll know*, then replace the filter and hopefully that will solve your problem. If not, i can think of other things to check, but I think this should work.
