Do they use manure for dreadlocks?

The Shivaites in India used to make dreadlocks with manure. To my knowledge they are the only ones who ever did this. Currently, using manure on dreadlocks would be considered extreme and unsanitary. Dreadlock Wax is a popular product used today to hold new locks together and to maintain the appearance of mature locks. but if you use dreadwax you might as well use manure cause every bit of dirt that u contact will get stuck in the wax
