2. Hallam, Nebraska on May 22, 2004 (2.5 miles wide)
3. Reserve, Kansas on May 17, 1896 (2.25 miles wide)
4. Moshannon State Forest, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1985 (at least 2.2 miles wide)
5. North of Greensburg, Kansas on May 4, 2007 (2.2 miles wide)
