In ancient Egyptian mummification, the organs were protected by four specific deities known as the "Four Sons of Horus." These gods are Imsety, who guarded the liver; Hapy, who protected the lungs; Duamutef, who watched over the stomach; and Qebehsenuef, who safeguarded the intestines.
