Can you neutralize catnip

Catnip cannot be "neutralized" in the traditional sense, as it is a plant that affects cats through their olfactory receptors. While some cats respond strongly to catnip due to a compound called nepetalactone, not all cats are affected—roughly 50-75% show a reaction. If you want to reduce a cat's exposure to catnip, simply removing it from their environment is the best approach. However, there is no chemical or method to counteract the effects of catnip once it's been ingested or smelled.
