Do mother rhinos care for their babies or abandon?

The Black Rhino baby doesn't live with its father, but with it's mother. It stays with it's mother until its fully weaned (weaned means when a young mammal has stopped suckling from it's mother) then it leaves the calf to fend for itself. I hope this was helpful! :)
