Why is Saint Felicity a saint?

Saint Felicity is a saint mainly because she refused to give up her belief of Christianity, with full knowledge that she would be martyred if she didn't.

She is the patron saint of expectant mothers, young mothers, women wanting to become pregnant, and children who die prematurely.
