Does homemade glue stick better than elmers glue?

It depends WHAT you are gluing. Each glue is made for a particular surface or type of surface. Very few glues are totally universal. Generally glues can be divided to 2 types
-1 - for rough porous surfaces ( epoxies and heavy liquid glues) ,

-2, for smooth, impenetrable surfaces (Cyanoacrylates )
