Who writes the us laws?

In the United States, laws are primarily written by Congress, which consists of two chambers: the House of Representatives and the Senate. Members of Congress propose legislation, and it goes through a process of debate, amendment, and voting. Additionally, the executive branch, particularly the President, can influence law-making through proposals and veto power. State legislatures also create laws at the state level.
