What was Orion dog name?

Orion's dog is named 'Sirius'. As a star Sirius is found in the constellation of Canis Major ; the Great Dog. It is one of the brightest stars in the night sky.

There is a binary star with Sirius, named the 'Pup'.

There is also another constellation named ' Canis Minot , the 'Little Dog'.
