What is the difference between bastiile day and freedom day?

Bastille Day, celebrated on July 14, commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, marking a pivotal event in the French Revolution and the rise of democracy in France. Freedom Day, however, generally refers to different events in various countries; for example, in South Africa, it celebrates the first post-apartheid elections held on April 27, 1994, symbolizing the end of racial segregation and the establishment of a democratic government.
