Where is alunite found?

Alunite is primarily found in volcanic regions, particularly in areas with acidic sulfate mineral deposits. Significant deposits can be located in countries such as Italy, the United States (notably in Utah), Turkey, and Japan. It often occurs in association with other minerals in altered volcanic rocks and can also be found in some sedimentary environments.
