Can you get addicted to Vapoinhalers?

It depends on if the inhaler has an addictive substance in it. That sounds obvious but in this case it is one of the few over-the-counter medications that can be abused. Any inhaler that contains an emphetamine or like substance can be addictive. Some brands contain Desoxyephedrine for instance. Now to be addictive the medication generally needs to be abused. In other Words if you are using the inhaler as directed and not to "get high" the danger is minimal. It is more likely that you may get "rebound congestion" from using the inhaler too much and then stopping. If you are extracting the drug, mixing and refining it , then abusing it, you can run the same addiction risks of any amphetamine.
