What happens to a sales contact if they leave the company?

There are no hard fast rules about what happens when a sales contact leaves a company. Usually, however, they will be required to hand over the details of any leads they may have generated and be expected to pass any long standing deals to other colleagues. Additionally, they must not take any company-sensitive data with them.
