Why do flies get stuck together sometimes?

Flies can get stuck together due to a combination of their sticky feet and mating behavior. Male flies often grasp onto females during courtship using specialized structures on their feet, which can sometimes lead to them inadvertently getting stuck. Additionally, if they land on a sticky surface or if their bodies come into contact with substances like sugar or other residues, they can become temporarily glued together.
