What does it mean when a guy growls at you?

It could be that it means nothing. People sometimes look your way, but they aren't and all they are doing is thinking. This may look like he is staring in a "mean way" but he isn't and is trying to remember something or think out a problem. Many times we internalize something that has nothing to do with us even though we think it does.
