How do a Christmas tree get oxygen?

A Christmas tree, like any other tree, gets oxygen through a process called photosynthesis. During this process, the tree absorbs carbon dioxide from the air through tiny openings in its leaves called stomata. Using sunlight, the tree converts carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. The oxygen is then released back into the atmosphere, contributing to the air we breathe.
