Level of importance of Dionysus to the Greeks?

Dionysus is the God of wine, ritual madness and ecstasy in the Greek Mythology. His father is Zeus and mother - a mortal Semele.

He is definetly very important but not as important as Zeus(Level1). Level 2 maybe?
