Why do men from rural areas in Canada have the highest rates of suicide?

This phenomenon of high suicide rates in rural areas - especially those who are working in Agriculture (farming) - is quite common in different parts of the worlds. Recently, in Kerala (an Indian State), suicide rate among farmerss are rising alarmingly as a result of poor crop yield, growing loans and decling prices of the agricultural products. As we know, those who depend completely on soil and climatic conditions, cultivation becomes a gambling. It is high time to revise our agricultural policies with more human face rather than supporting the multinationals, exporters and middlemen.
