What year did Harley Davidson switch to electric start?

It depends on the model the superglide never had the option till 1973. I bought a 1972 FX (Super-Glide) new in Aug 72 and still drive it every nice day. The FLH first added it in 1965. Not sure but I think the XLH was 1959 or 1960.
