How much money does a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine earn?

In the ancient history, they don't make much. It is a passion to help and cure people who are sick. Chinese herbs or medicine are generally described as "mountain grass" in Cantonese...and therefore they are almost free as they are picked from the wild. There are some "free" hospitals in the world which nowadays practice TCM ( Traditional Chinese Medicine ) and western medicine and they only receive donations. So, you can see that these doctors practically receives nothing. Then, there are those Chinese doctors whose families have been giving advice in early days when TCM were very cheap and affordable; have now began to make huge profits. These can be in the region of six figures annual income or even more if they also sells general health medicine. Some even set up franchises' store worldwide and are also publicly listed. Then the bosses are making the millions! The traditional love for caring and helping the poor is gone!
