How did rani jaywanta bai die?

Rani Jhansi, also known as Rani Lakshmibai, died on June 17, 1858, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. She was seriously wounded in battle against British forces while defending her kingdom of Jhansi. To avoid capture, she reportedly chose to ride into the river Betwa, where she drowned.
