What is rebus story?

A rebus story is any piece of writing that replaces Words, or parts of Words, with pictures. For example: instead of writing the Word "clock" you would insert a picture of a clock. Also, instead of writing the Word "hear" you would type the letter "h", and next to it insert a picture of an ear.
